Democratic Socialism

Democratic Socialism is an economic ideology that preaches socially owned means of production. It puts an emphasis on workplace democracy as well as economic democracy, as well as workers’ self-management, within a decentralized planned economy. Democratic Socialists are very few and far between in the government of the United States

Neo-Liberalism

Neo-Liberalism is a domestic as well as abroad ideology. Neo-Liberals implement market reform, such as; lowering price regulations, favoring free trade, and reducing government influence in the economy. Abroad Neo-Liberals favor interventionism. Neo-Liberals along with the Conservative Democrats are considered the ”moderates” inside the Democratic Party.

Conservative Democrats

Conservative Dems are usually the most bi-partisan members of the Democratic Party. They give off the “fiscally conservative, socially liberal” schtick. They are most often elected in swing states like Pennsylvania and Arizona.

Progressivism

Progressivism is a political ideology that features very Liberal social policy. Historically they have been advocates for gay marriage, Anti Segregationist, and pro new deal. They are divided between pro-interventionism and anti-interventionism.
