On November 5th, 2024, we will have our next Presidential Election. The Incumbent President Joe Biden (D-DE) has not announced whether he will run or not for a 2nd term. But since he will be 81 on Election day 2024 is there a good chance that he doesn’t even run? So if he decides not to run or isn’t able to due to his health who will be the Democratic

Nominee? I would say Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris (D-CA) would be the nominee. First off in betting, she has a 30% chance to be the nominee behind Joe Biden with 43%, and far behind her is the US Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg (D-IN) with a 7% chance of winning the nomination as of today.

When it comes to Harris as a politician, she’s not that strong of a candidate. In the polls that she’s included in for the 2024 General Election, she trails Former President of the United States Donald Trump (R-FL) in three out of four of the polls by as much as 4%. And when it comes to betting in the Republican Primary Donald Trump leads the way with a 30% chance to win the nomination and behind him is Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis (R-FL) with a 23% chance. If Trump were to run I believe DeSantis wouldn’t run and DeSantis would be one of Trump’s top running mate options. So as we have seen in polls Kamala Harris is heavily disliked by Conservatives and more Independents than Biden is. So could Trump or another Republican candidate get enough votes to beat her?
