Putin does in fact regret invading Ukraine. That is the only answer. Putin has miscalculated the economic costs of the Ukrainian invasion. It has been met with hard resistance from Ukrainian troops and civilians. Everything is backfiring for the Russian Federation, the Kremlin admitted that its economy has faced a major blow, the Russian Ruble now worth less than a single Robux (Roblox’s online currency). Economic sanctions and cyberwars from all sides, the West, cyber hacker teams, and even China themselves. China is currently stuck between Russia and Ukraine continuing to stay neutral but defending both sides. Historians, political analysts, and China just have to wait and see as this truly unfortunate invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, continues to unfold.
