For the first time since he took office, President Biden saw his average approval rating below 50% when it hit 49.9% on August 14th. Part of this is because of the skyrocketing COVID-19 cases in the US, where they have hit the highest number of cases per day since a week after Biden took office. Another reason is because of the Afghanistan crisis, where Biden withdrew the US troops and the Taliban has taken over. Another reason could be is that he has been on vacation at Camp David during the Covid-19 cases going up and during the Afghanistan crisis. As of today, his average approval is at 49.3% and his disapproval is at 44.2%. So the question is can Biden fix his approval rating, or will it continue to plummet?
